Creating the logo for Elite Equine Bodywork was all about combining professionalism, elegance, and meaning. Madison wanted something timeless and high-end, so I focused on a refined, minimalist approach that would stand out while feeling effortlessly classic.
Brand Board & Concept Development

Before diving into the design, I put together a brand board to gather all initial ideas, inspirations, and expectations. This helped shape the creative direction and ensure every element aligned with Madison’s vision.

Understanding the Brand & Audience
Before starting the design, I researched Madison’s target audience to ensure the branding would resonate with the right people. Elite Equine Bodywork caters to performance horse owners looking for expert care, so the visual identity needed to reflect professionalism, expertise, and trustworthiness.
The Initial Concepts
Before landing on the final design, I presented Madison with three distinct logo concepts. Each concept was designed to explore different angles, yet none featured manes or tails initially. This approach allowed Madison to focus on the core structure and feel of the logo without any distractions. Once she had the opportunity to view the designs and see how they resonated with her brand, we then incorporated the mane and tail elements to give the equine illustration more character and depth. This collaborative process ensured the final logo truly felt right for her business, blending the balance between elegance and equine movement seamlessly.
The Design Process
🔸 Typeface – A serif font was the perfect choice to give the brand a polished, credible look that will stay relevant for years to come.
🔸 Equine Illustration – The subtle equine illustration within the ‘E’ ties everything together, representing movement and balance—two key principles of equine bodywork.
🔸 Colours – Deep forest green and gold create a blend of trust, nature, and quality, ensuring the brand feels both grounded and luxurious.
🔸 Minimalist Approach – The goal was to create something simple yet impactful—versatile enough to look great on everything from business cards to signage.
The Final Result
The finished logo suite includes a primary logo, a refined monogram, and alternate variations to ensure flexibility across different branding materials. Along the way, we explored a few other directions before landing on this final design, each one helping shape the vision Madison had for her brand.

Madison was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I can’t wait to see her business grow. Wishing her all the success in her new venture! ✨
